frequently visited mountain area for people living in Brattvåg. Most
people don't actually enter the high point of Heimste Synnalandsheia,
but settle for the point Synnalandshornet 800 metres further north where
the local sports club (Brattvåg IL) has one of its registration points
(worth 3 points in the annual point collecting competition).
From Heimste Synnalandsheia one has a good view of other Haram mountains
like Hildrehesten, Samhjarte,
Skulstadhornet, and the mountains on the
east side of Samfjorden.
