Mont Ventoux is a very
prominent mountain, and is probably most famous for having been host to
one of the Tour de France stages on many occasions. From the summit,
which has a large building, you have excellent views of a large area of
land, and to many fine mountains.
You should expect to meet many others at the summit, including a lot of
people who cycle to the summit.
